Our services have been specially designed to ensure that every client’s needs are met to the expected standard and quality. 

Shipping

CIMS offers a wide range of shipping services across the Caspian Sea between the ports of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. We own and operate tankers fleet in the Caspian Sea, which carry Kazakh oil on the Trans-Caspian route for onward transportation via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.

We also deliver services related to transportation of bulk cargo and containers to connect transport routes. CIMS strategy is to enhance connectivity and enable continuous trade in the region.

We procure ships from the world leaders of shipbuilding as well as sourcing locally. Our customers can be assured that their cargo will navigate the Caspian in a fast and efficient manner on our vessels.

Offshore

CIMS is specialized in all offshore projects, which includes those in the Oil & Gas industry and large offshore infrastructure projects. We have a diversified fleet of modern ships: PSVs, AHTS, barges, tugs, landing crafts, Multicats, AWB and crew boats and diving support vessels. We offer a full range of services, from finding or procuring the right vessel, to chartering and operating them, offering a complete effortless customer experience.

In addition, we can arrange all the logistical requirements related to vessels. This includes port clearance, dry docking, maintenance and emergency repairs, water and food supplies, technical and operational surveys, bunkers and lubricants.

We operate vessels compliant to the latest requirements of IMO and under the supervision of international class societies – BV, DNV, Lloyds, Rina, and ABS. Each vessel has a Safety Management Certificate and our marine activities are compliant to all relevant ISO standards.

Subsea Solutions

Our specialized team within CIMS is able to offer a broad spectrum of subsea solutions to cover all underwater engineering and survey needs.

These incude:

  • Underwater inspection (welds, CCTV, hulls, seabed, marine growth, corrosion and damages)
  • Pipeline operations (dive support, tie-ins, installations, sonar survey, repairs)
  • Offshore constructions (burning/cutting/welding, coating, salvage, fiberoptic cable laying support)
  • SBM (installation, change, maintenance, anchoring)

Project Logistics

CIMS offers turnkey project delivery with integrated logistics services for combined sea and land transportation. We tailor our solutions to your specifications and challenges, especially for locations with deficient facilities for heavy or out-of-gauge cargo.

Transporting a single piece of equipment or an entire industrial plant, is well managed by our reliable experts, from developing a comprehensive project plan to execution, covering management, operations, arranging safe storage and incorporating intermodal transportation across the region.

Leveraging the combined expertise of our shareholders, we bring experience from projects in different parts of the world, we are able to use regular and chartered shipping tonnage as well as purpose-built railway services. We value our client partnerships and we focus on delivering a smooth customer experience throughout– from first call to delivery at a customer’s site - complete end-to-end logistics solutions.

Towage

CIMS can provide towage services, both for mooring/unmooring ships within ports, as well as SPM assistance and transportation towage. Our use of world-class ultra-shallow draft tugs suited to the Caspian Sea ensures an elevated level of service. To cater to the geography of the region all tugs are built to ice class specifications, which extends their navigational capabilities and provides increased safety of the services provided to our customers.

Our Global Reach

Caspian Integrated Maritime Solutions focuses its current operations within Central Asia Caspian countries, as well as the Azerbaijan and Georgia to Black Sea corridor. We cross the Caspian between Aktau and Baku, in addition to Baku and Turkmenbashi. We also plan to expand our activities within the Black Sea, catering to the needs of Kazakhstan oil exports. Our main bases are in Kazakhstan – Aktau and Kuryk.

Formation of a new joint venture: Caspian Integrated Maritime Solutions

AD Ports Group has formed a significant joint venture with KMTF (Kazmortransflot), a subsidiary of KazMunayGas, to provide offshore and shipping services in the Caspian Sea. The venture, with 51% ownership by AD Ports Group and 49% by KMTF, aims to offer a wide range of services, including offshore support vessels, integrated logistics, subsea solutions, and future plans for container feedering and crude oil transportation. Launch Ceremony for tankers "MT Liwa" and "MT Taraz"

AD Ports Group and KazMorTransFlot (KMTF) have acquired and commenced operations of two modern vessels, Liwa and Taraz, to transport Kazakhstan's oil across the Caspian Sea. Caspian Integrated Maritime Solutions (CIMS) will utilise these specialised tankers to provide offshore and shipping services for commodity exporters in the Caspian, meeting international oil company standards. Equipped with inert gas systems, the vessels prioritise safety and comply with modern regulations.
